Were you there??? We were SO there!!

Glenda Key and Jane Oeffner, the Captains, represented KEY Functional Assessments Network in the Exhibit Hall, encouraging APTA Combined Sections Meeting conference attendees to ‘Set Sail to Increased Direct Pay Revenue!!’   They were assisting enthusiastic and curious therapists steer their futures – educating and motivating in the exploration of transitioning or growing their businesses or careers in the Industrial Therapy services field. 

Industrial Therapy is no longer a ‘niche’ market – it is becoming mainstream,  with participation and services at all levels. There are countless options for breaking into the field – opening doors with Employers or venturing into Return-to-Work FCAs/FCEs.  Each leads to considerable business, one with Employers as your direct pay customer and the other with your Physicians as your increased referral source within Workers’ Comp reimbursement. 

Jane and Glenda also had a great turnout for their presentation, “Employers and Industrial Rehab:  The Gateway to Direct Pay Revenue and New Patients”.  Many attendees presented excellent questions and others provided great ideas to the crowd during Question/Answer/Discussion.  And a good-sized enthusiastic group stayed even longer – for discussion and sharing of experiences.  Seriously, there are so many opportunities in this field – available for everyone.  And KEY would love to see more and more therapists making the connections with the referral sources that are a part of the Industrial Therapy field.
