The Key to Assessing workers'
capabilities and injuries.
THE ETHICAL CHOICE
STANDARD INDUSTRY HEIGHTS

On-the-job heights of work do not vary with the heights of the individual. Therefore, rather than basing assessments on the height of the individual, evaluations need to be based on what heights the clients will be lifting to and from. As a member of the Upper Midwest Human Factor’s Society, KEY Founder, Glenda Key, worked with a team of engineers and ergonomists from 3M, Control Data and Honeywell. This team of experts outlined heights and distances that are industry standards. Unlike other functional evaluation systems, the KEY holds to the standards of industry, keeping those heights and distances standard from evaluation to evaluation. As an assessor, rest assured that your judgment will never be called into question.
